“I approach photography as an art of compromise

Rarely do mountains notice when I direct them, nor the sun feel obliged to give me the time of day. I find my best work comes when I listen to what the world is giving me, instead of telling it what I want.”

I’ve had a camera in my hand one way or another for a little over a decade, getting my start as a production assistant for a laser and light company.

I found my passion laid in landscape photography, feeding a lifelong love of the outdoors first fostered during camping trips along the Shenandoah River as a child.

Now you can find me wandering dune systems under pale moonlight, racing up mountainsides before golden hour turns blue, or standing on a wind whipped ridge waiting for the sun to grace us with its presence for the day.

Thanks for visiting. See you out there.
